POSITION TITLE: Restaurant Cook
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Cook to organize the kitchen’s activities and assist Head Cook;
JOB DUTIES: Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities with Head Cook. Food display and timely service delivery
Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages as instructed by Head Cook. Arrange for repairs when necessary. Remedy any problems or defects. Train kitchen staff if instructed by the Head Cook. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Two years of experience OR job training (relevant to post secondary education such as culinary school OR Bachelors Degree or equivalent)
- ALTERNATIVE OTHER DEGREE DETAILS: High School degree with 24 month of on job experience OR secondary education such as Culinary School OR
Bachelors Degree in any unrelated degree - ALTERNATIVE OTHER MAJOR(S) AND.OR FIELD(S) OF STUDY REQUIRED: Cook: Culinary School (or equivalent) or Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an unrelated degree with 24 moths of experience.
LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 1100 Water Avenue, Surfside Beach, SC 29575
POSITION HOURS: Full-Time/ 40 hours/week.
